Hiii! My name is Jae Hall-Kues. I’m a second year at University of Cincinnati majoring in Games and Animation. I’m from Cincinnati, Ohio, and I just turned 20 not too long ago! I love to draw, write, read, and occasionally practice my singing skills in a round of karaoke. I am also a first generation college student, and I am aiming to complete the highest level of education that anyone in my family has achieved. I joined the University Honors Program in hopes of garnering more passion towards learning, and helping my community. I work hard to honor the values instilled in me by my parents: be kind to others, have integrity, and keep working even when it gets hard. I was fortunate enough to apply and receive enough money in scholarships to fund a vast majority of my college expenses, but I still work full time and participate in many university programs apart from UHP. I’m excited to see where being in this program will take me, and I’m going to do my best to take each experience with an open mind and see where it takes me.
